Condoleeza Rice on Guns…
Our 2nd Amendment kept children safe against unspeakable hate crimes!
“The way I come out of own personal experience, in which in Birmingham, AL, my father and his friends defended our community in 1962 and 1963 against White Knight Riders [KKK] by going to the head of the community, the head of the cul-de-sac, and sitting there, armed. And so I’m very concerned about any abridgement of the second Amendment“.
The event Condoleeza is referring to is the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing in Birmingham, Alabama on September 15, 1963 which killed four girls, two of whom 8-year-old Condaleeza personally knew.
This is the text of the Second Amendment of the U.S. Constitution: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed“.
